The links to thorn guides on http://einsteintoolkit.org/guides/thorn-guide.html are non-functional, eg leading to http://einsteintoolkit.org/guides/CactusUtil/Nice/ for the Nice thorn.

This is working again since 4e8b185 "change links to guides to old version - as workaround for a proper solution" Fri Feb 24 11:13:42 2017 -0600 and I have verified just now that it still works.

Note: the URLs in the description are indeed still non-functional however the website no longer uses them and the links starting from http://einsteintoolkit.org/documentation.html do work.

Hmm. Not for me! If I go to the documentation page and click on the link "Einstein Toolkit Thorn Guide" (http://einsteintoolkit.org/guides/thorn-guide.html) I get the list of thorns, but they give, for example,

    Not Found

The requested URL /guides/CTThorns/CT_MultiLevel/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Right you are. Some links were missed (or more correctly only the buttons at the bottom were updated). Please give it another try now. Note that the current state is temporary until this can be fixed properly. Given that Frank could not make the ET call on Monday due to a cold this may be a take a little bit longer though.

It works - sort of. It gives me an ugly page of links to PDFs, whereas before we had a nicely-formatted page of links to the HTML versions. Is this just temporary, or is this how it is intended to be eventually?

Best to open another ticket for the request for more proper integration of the html pages.
