Create "current" branches in all ET repositories to point to the latest release

It might be convenient to have "current" branches in each ET repository to point to the latest release. This way, download instructions will not need to be updated whenever there is a new release (see ~~#1103~~). In some situations, it is important which release is referred to. In others, it is not. The branch would be repointed (this would not be a fast-forward) at each release. I don't know how this would work for subversion repositories.
