   I created a repository (https://svn.cactuscode.org/projects/ExternalLibraries/SQLite), but ldap (authentication) has problems atm, so nobody can write to it at the moment.

   Frank, does LDAP work now? Can this repository be accessed?

   Adding a thorn to the ET requires a public discussion, and this is unlikely unless there is a compelling use case for this thorn. I suggest to have this thorn available in an svn repository, but only add it to the official ET thorn list when it is being used by multiple groups.

   I agree. I have no intention to push this in the ET thornlist at this point. I will post to the cactus user list when a utility thorn based on SQLite is ready. SQLite will then be a required thorn if people want to use the utility thorn.

   ldap now works, as can be seen by various commits. I agree that this can go into the new arrangement now and decided upon inclusion in whatever toolkit later, when it's usefulness is agreed upon.
